Refund Policy

1. Introduction

This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds on Your Marketplace. By using our marketplace, you agree to this policy. Our goal is to ensure fair treatment for both Purchasers and Sellers while maintaining the integrity of our platform.

2. General Policy

2.1. Your Marketplace does not directly process refunds for products or services purchased through our platform. All refunds must be handled directly with the Seller through the appropriate channel for the affected app.

2.2. Purchasers are responsible for understanding what they are buying and ensuring that their purchase is not a scam or impersonation.

2.3. Due to the nature of digital products and services, all sales are generally considered final unless the product is defective or not as described.

3. Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds may be considered in the following circumstances:

  • The product or service is materially different from what was described in the listing
  • The product is non-functional or doesn't work as advertised
  • The Seller fails to provide the product or service within a reasonable timeframe
  • The product violates our Terms of Service or is fraudulent

4. Dispute Process

4.1. If a Purchaser experiences issues with a product or service:

  • The Purchaser must first attempt to resolve the issue directly with the Seller through the appropriate channel for the affected app.
  • The Purchaser must wait 48 hours before contacting Your Marketplace regarding unresolved issues.
  • To report an issue, the Purchaser must contact Your Marketplace via email at support@yourmarketplace.com and provide sufficient proof of their claim, including but not limited to:
    • Order number and date of purchase
    • Detailed description of the issue
    • Screenshots or other evidence supporting the claim
    • Communication history with the Seller

4.2. Upon receiving a valid complaint, Your Marketplace will:

  • Review the provided information
  • Contact the Seller regarding the issue
  • The Seller is expected to resolve the issue within 72 hours of being notified by Your Marketplace
  • Mediate the dispute if necessary

5. Seller Strike System

5.1. If a Seller fails to resolve a Purchaser's issue within 72 hours of being notified by Your Marketplace, they will receive a strike.

5.2. Consequences of strikes:

  • First Strike: The item is refunded. The platform fee increases from 15% to 25%, and the payment cooldown period increases from 7 to 14 days, indefinitely.
  • Second Strike: The Seller's account is flagged publicly. The platform fee increases to 50%, and the payment cooldown period increases to 21 days, indefinitely.
  • Third Strike: The Seller is permanently banned. Any new or associated accounts will also be banned. All Seller products are removed from the Marketplace.

6. Refund Process

6.1. If a refund is approved, it will be processed using the original payment method when possible.

6.2. Refunds may take 5-10 business days to appear on the Purchaser's account, depending on the payment method and financial institution.

6.3. In some cases, store credit may be offered instead of a monetary refund.

7. Limitations

7.1. Your Marketplace reserves the right to deny refund requests that do not comply with this policy or that we determine to be fraudulent or abusive.

7.2. Refund requests must be made within 30 days of the purchase date, unless otherwise specified by the Seller or required by law.

7.3. Your Marketplace is not responsible for:

  • The quality, safety, legality, or any other aspect of the items or services offered on the platform.
  • Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of products or services purchased through the Marketplace.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Refund Policy on this page and updating the 'Last Updated' date. You are advised to review this Refund Policy periodically for any changes.
